Meet your councillors for Blackbrook & Holway on Taunton Town Council

Federica Smith-Roberts

Federica is Taunton born and bred and has been a councillor since 2013. She lives in Blackbrook with her husband and children and is a governor at Blackbrook School. She was leader of Somerset West and Taunton Council from 2019 -2023 where she pushed for the betterment of Taunton and for listening to residents. She is also a Somerset Councillor. 

She is known for working to make sure streets are kept tidy, your bins are collected on time, and for tackling various issues and concerns through the local Facebook groups.

Sue Lees

Sue has lived in Taunton for 47 years since marrying Richard. She was a district councillor from 2007 - 2023. She was very proud to be Mayor of Taunton from 2022 - 2023 and has encountered many amazing people here in Taunton. Sue will continue to do her very best for all constituents.

As a disabled person, Sue feels she has a good knowledge of problems faced by disabled people in our community and would always be willing to help whatever the concern.
