Ross is currently the district councillor for the Blackdowns, the Neroche Hills and Hatch Beauchamp. He takes pleasure in supporting many community events, attending as many parish council meetings as possible and meeting local people.

He believes strongly in supporting independent traders in Wellington and in the villages and providing more opportunities for young people. He has a particular interest in improving support for neurodiversity.
